The SFAI does not publish its rules on the internet, the only official source for SFAI rules is it's rule book issued by the SFAI each year following its Annual Geneeral Meeting.

These rule books are issued to each affiliated League who in turn distribute the rule books on a one per member club basis.

UMBRO Kennedy Cup

The 2010 UMBRO Kennedy Cup Tournament was staged from 21st - 25th June in Limerick University where all 32 Schoolboy Leagues affiliated to the SFAI took part in a total of 96 games over the week

There were 121 goals scored in 48 group format games and - disregarding penalty shoot outs - a total of 113 goals were scored over 48 knock out games.

DANONE Cup

Cherry Orchard from the DDSL will represent Ireland at the DANONE Nations Cup Final in South Africa in October 2010.

In a make or break final group game Cherry Orchard beat Crumlin Utd 1 - 0 to qulaify to meet Abbeyleix Ath from the Midlands SL in the national final in the AUL Dublin on Sunday 13th June.

In a very tense and close fought final Cherry Orchard ran out winners by a single second half goal and so will join Villa FC from Waterford on the trip to South Africa.

Villa as 2009 Ireland national final winners were due to have travelled to Sao Paulo in Brazil in 2009 but the trip had to be cancelled due to the swine flu threat in that region of the world and DANONE generously are also taking all 2009 national final winners to South Africa this year for a double world finals tournament.

UMBRO Kennedy Cup

The 2010 Kennedy Cup is scheduled for Limerick University from 21st to 25th June inclusive.

The 2010 Kennedy Cup Tournament draw was staged in the Red Cow Hotel in Dublin on Tuesday 9th March 2010 and the complete draw is now posted under the KENNEDY CUP tab on the left hand menu

SFAI sources new Personal Accident Policy

Details of a new personal Accident Insurance Policy have been issued to all Leaguesfor their consideration, the new scheme will see greatly increased levels of benefit available to all teams/clubs affiliated to the SFAI.
